+ Is solar expensive?

Pricing for solar has become extremely afforable for every household in America! There are many payment options available and they range from financing through a solar loan, cash purchase, or even a lease. All have pros and cons associated with them. It all depends on each homeowners specific goals and needs.

+ Is my home good for solar?

Chances are, there is a solution for you. Even if you get shade on your roof, our team would be able to consult with you to ensure we are designing a system that is going to have a strong financial return. If not, we will be very honest with you on your options. Traditionally, most homes have a small amount of shading. This is not an issue and solar can perform at optimal levels even during these times.

+ What type of credits am I eligible for?

In Illinois, you will be eligible for the 26% federal tax credit. This means that 26% of your purchase price will be written off on your next tax return as a credit. Also, you will be eligible for the Illinois Adjustable Block Programs Incentive. This program pays you in year one for your next 15 years of upfront production at a fixed price per SREC. Each SREC is determined by a fixed amount of estimated kWh produced. Also, many local townships have incentives and can be worked out with your solar consultant!

+ How Does Solar Get Connected to My Home?

Most projects will be innerconnected with the utility company by a line side tap. This is the best way to ensure we will not be upgrading your existing service upon installation.
